Our network team reviews your portfolio and may ask for a short call before approving you.
Get offers
Jobs near you arrive by email with the date, area and your pay. The first of the nearest three to accept is booked.
Shoot & get paid
Upload within 24 hours. Once the client receives the files, the job goes into your weekly payout.
Pay
Paid through Stripe, as yourself or through your own company. Stripe sends your 1099. You always see the pay on the offer before you accept.
What we look for
- A portfolio that shows your best recent work
- A professional camera and lenses, plus lighting for indoor work
- Edited photos uploaded within 24 hours of the shoot
- On time, friendly, and based in North Jersey or New York City
Questions
Do I need my own business?
No. You can be paid as yourself or through your own company (LLC or corporation). You are an independent contractor either way.
Can I choose which jobs to take?
Yes. Every offer shows the service, area, date, time and your pay. You accept only the jobs you want.
Who edits the videos?
Our in-house editors usually edit. If we ask you to edit a job, the editing pay is included in the offer before you accept.
When do I get paid?
Every week, for jobs delivered to the client the week before (Sunday to Saturday). You set up your payout account once in your dashboard.
Can I share the photos on my portfolio?
Only with written permission from Book Your Shots for that specific file, and never for private bookings. Details are in the photographer guide.
